Developing a College Going Culture
Support Services and Resources for Economically Disadvantaged Students

Game Plan:

1. Choose one or two support organizations to assist your school with this daunting task.  Explore the organizations listed on this site and speak with local colleges to see if they have an ongoing support program for local schools.

2. Develop a plan to encourage academic motivation and direction.  This may include a formal advisory program incorporating your entire school or district or simply a schedule of lessons, meetings and programs designed to encourage a college going culture.

3. Choose and implement a formal curriculum for your students, preparing them for the road to college.
